5 Animals With A Long Gestation Period That Will Make You More Patient

1. Zebra - 10 – 12 Months

4. Gorillas- 8.5 Months

Gorillas resemble humans a lot, right! Well, their pregnancy period resembles that of ours too. Their gestation lasts around 8.5 months. A hunch feeling tells us, it will be similar, after all, we did share the same ancestry in the past. 

5. Dolphins- Around 17 Months

If you thought only land animals have such a long gestation period, then think again. These aquatic mammals have long pregnancy period as well. For some species of dolphin, it can be a wait of around 17 months to get a glimpse of their young ones.
